Bill Epling

Senior Vice President of Finance and Operations
and Chief Financial Officer

Bill Epling is senior Vice President of Finance and Operations and Chief Financial Officer of FileMaker, Inc., a worldwide leader in database software for workgroups. Epling has been CFO of FileMaker (and its predecessor Claris Corp.) since 1996. In this capacity, he manages the company's finance, worldwide operations, information systems and technology, and facilities departments.

Prior to FileMaker, Epling held several senior finance roles in treasury, licensing, sales and product development organizations during his 7 years at Apple Computer, Inc. His international experience includes serving as director of finance for Apple Computer France, and director of tax and treasury for Apple Computer Europe.

Prior to Apple, Epling served in a variety of treasury roles at PepsiCo, Inc. and JC Penney Corp. He has a B.S. degree in industrial engineering and an MBA degree in finance, both from Columbia University in New York.
