NightWing Enterprises announces DataVaultMaker 2.0 Lite for FileMaker Pro 7

DataVaultMaker 2.0 Lite is a versatile spin-off of the yet-to-be-released DataVaultMaker Pro 2.0, a fully featured cryptographic environment for FileMaker Pro 7. Based on the encryption technology made available in the successful DataVaultMaker 1.0, this new release harnesses the power and flexibility of FileMaker 7 to provide password protected encryption and decryption tightly packaged into a pair of proprietary custom functions. The system protexts the privacy and security of sensitive material in FileMaker databases on both Windows and Macintosh operating systems.
NightWing’s Senior Consultant and Developer, Ray Cologon stated “...this new release of DataVaultMaker is a step up technically and functionally. It has been rewritten from the inside out for FileMaker 7. New features include the ability to specify a password for each encryption, and the ability to decrypt long strings of text without requiring a script.”.
DataVaultMaker provides unicode-based encryption that is approximately equivalent in strength to 1,024-bit binary cryptographic algorithms. Each copy of DataVaultMaker 2.0 Lite will provide a unique cryptosystem which can be installed into a FileMaker solution using FileMaker Developer, to provide a powerful data encryption/decryption system inside the database. The new optional password protection feature enables each instance of encryption to be encoded with a separate password. Moreover each cryptosystem purchased will be unique and incompatible with all others.
DataVaultMaker® 2.0 Lite cryptosystem developer licenses may be purchased online from the NightWing Enterprises web site for US$45. If required, the licensed custom function pairs can be installed directly into your existing FileMaker 7 files for an additional US$15 per file. DataVaultMaker 2.0 Lite is available as free upgrade for registered users of DataVaultMaker v1.x.
