MEXICO, DF – August 29 – Eikon announces the full rewrite of their leading products Eikon GF and Eikon CR to take advantage of the new features of FileMaker 8.
Eikon GF (for the big format printing industry)
This solution is an integrated, operating environment that control all the aspects of your printing business, including customers with multiple addresses (virtually unlimited), contact management, activities, massive mailing, prospect management, quotes, job orders, production planning, invoicing, accounts receivable, vendors, purchase orders, accounts payable, inventories and banking. All this in an integrated, easy to use interface, speaking your own language.

Eikon CR (for creative and industrial design agencies)
Besides all the features included in Eikon GF, Eikon CR has a cost estimating module integrated with the purchase orders system which lets you track to the cent every cost involved in your project as well as the profits obtained in every step of the process. It includes also a time tracking module so the designers can collect and charge all the billable hours in every project.

Runs with FileMaker Pro 8
Now we have a major milestone in our history as a company: FileMaker 8. The options it offers to the final user lead us to make the decision of rewriting our solutions from the ground up and take advantage of this whole new suite of features to make a rich content, helpful and easy to use solution to manage your big format printing or creative business.

Pricing and Availability
Both solutions will be priced at US$ 999.00 per seat. It includes a license of FileMaker 8, a security key and three months of free tech support (special conditions apply). Eikon CR and Eikon GF (in their FileMaker 8 version) will be available by the end of 2005 and its first release will be in Spanish only. System Requirements
Both Eikon GF and Eikon CR have the same system requirements as FileMaker 8. In addition, the computer monitor's screen resolution must be set to a minimum of 1024 x 768.
