PilotWare Releases Television Production in a Box FileMaker Pro 8 Based Solution

Los Angeles, CA., -- August 29  – PilotWare Systems, Inc. releases a boxed version of PilotWare VLS, its proven television production software based on the new FileMaker Pro 8.  PilotWare VLS – Desktop Edition is a single-user Video Logging System designed to manage raw footage and other media elements. Now videographers and documentary filmmakers can use the same software solution that leading television productions rely on.

PilotWare VLS includes a new digital logging plug-in that streams video through the FileMaker-based application. Users can manage every aspect of a video production project from tracking tapes to building rough cuts with the digital files.

Having serviced over 250 television productions, PilotWare has spent the past decade introducing enterprise level solutions to the television industry, and credits FileMaker for creating a user-friendly platform on which to develop and manage systems.
