FileMaker has done it again with the release of the newest versions of the #1 selling database software, FileMaker Pro 8.5 and FileMaker Pro 8.5 Advanced. Powerful new features include the FileMaker Web Viewer, a Universal Application (meaning that the software can run natively and faster on the new Intel-based Macs) and the FileMaker Learning Centre. In addition FileMaker will soon ship a Chinese language version.
The new Web Viewer feature is a break-through, allowing a live web browser to be placed directly into a FileMaker database. You can read more in this newsletter about how this exciting new feature can assist your business.
You can also learn how FileMaker can help businesses manage compliance. We look at the example of Singaporean independent financial advisor Promiseland and how it is using FileMaker to meet regulatory requirements.
In Education Corner we explain why school administrators should now be thinking about FileMaker's Annual K-12 School Site Licence for the 2007 academic year. We reveal how a FileMaker database can help creative professionals get back to what they do best...Create.
Make sure you read about FileMaker's hot new upgrade offers, including a special FileMaker Pro 8.5 upgrade rebate offer for FileMaker Pro 8 users.
Developers will want to read about the 11th Annual FileMaker Developers Conference, to be held in Orlando, Florida from August 13-17, 2006. Meanwhile in Australia, Computer Training Options has launched its new FileMaker Pro 8.5 classroom training.
