- Compatibility with Mac OS X "Tiger"
- Version 8 of the FileMaker database products (FileMaker Pro 8, etc.) has been developed for optimum performance with Mac OS X “Tiger”. Additionally, version 7 of the FileMaker database products is also compatible with Mac OS X “Tiger”. Versions of FileMaker database products prior to version 7 have not been tested for compatibility with Mac OS X “Tiger”.
- Dashboard and Automator support
- FileMaker has developed the FileMaker Datagraph Dashboard Widget and FileMaker Automator Actions to help you get the most out of FileMaker Pro 8 running on Mac OS X "Tiger" (FileMaker Datagraph and FileMaker Automator Actions are recommended for use with FileMaker Pro 8, although they may also be used with FileMaker Pro 7). We have posted this software so that you can learn more about FileMaker and a a starting point for solutions you might like to create. It is provided free of charge, on an AS IS basis, and without warranties or support of any kind.
