FileMaker Training Series - This is the official training curriculum from FileMaker Inc. It contains 12 training modules that cover a comprehensive set of topics designed to help you master the essentials of FileMaker solution development. uLearnIT is delivering the FileMaker Training Series as a sequence of three courses - Building FileMaker Pro Solutions, Advanced FileMaker Pro Solutions and Connecting FileMaker Pro Databases. Each course will cover a selected set of modules from the training materials.

Using FileMaker Pro - This one day course teaches the basics of using and creating databases in FileMaker Pro. At the completion of this course, you will be able to work with data and records in an existing database, create a new database and create layouts to produce reports. You will receive a comprehensive training manual and a certificate of completion. Course cost $540 (inc GST).

Building FileMaker Pro Solutions - this two day course builds on the skills learned in the Using FileMaker Pro course. The course covers topics in planning and building relational database solutions in FileMaker Pro. It covers the FileMaker Training Series modules 1, 2, 3, 4 and 7. At the completion of this course, you will be able to create a new database, work with data and records, and create layouts to produce reports. You will receive a certificate of completion. Course cost $1080 (inc GST).

Advanced FileMaker Pro Solutions - this two day course covers topics for building better multi-user relational databases in FileMaker Pro. The course includes advanced calculations and scripting techniques, security and FileMaker Server. It covers the FileMaker Training Series modules 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10. At the completion of this course, you be able to use more advanced techniques to build better FileMaker Pro solutions. You will receive a certificate of completion. Course cost $1080 (inc GST).

Connecting FileMaker Pro Databases - this one day course teaches the basics of external database connections. It covers the FileMaker Training Series modules 11 and 12. Learn how to integrate with SQL systems, both through ODBC connections and with the External SQL Data Source capabilities. Understand the capabilities of both Instant Web Publishing (IWP) and Custom Web Publishing, and learn how to develop solutions to publish via the Web. Review the PHP Site Assistant and gain hands-on experience with IWP. You will receive a certificate of completion. Course cost $540 (inc GST).

Courses based on the FileMaker Training Series modules require participants to have a copy of the course materials.
